Make the most out of your Premium Plan

How Spokane Cheap Flights works

1. Select your membership plan. We offer a free service for those who just want to try us out and get the occasional deal. For travelers who want to receive all of those deals and get them first, there are our premium plan and premium plus plan. The premium plan is for cash flight deals, and the premium plus plan is for both cash bookings and bookings with points and miles that you may have or want to accrue.

2. When there's an amazing deal on flights to international or domestic destinations—like Bali for $402 round-trip, Hawaii for $149, or Ireland for $1200 in business class—we send you an email with all the details (links) on how to book the flight.

Spokane Cheap Flights Memberships

We offer three types of memberships...

Sign up for Economy

Our Economy Plan is free and gives you limited economy class deals we send to destinations in the continental US.  You will be the deals after the deals have been sent out to the paid Premium plan members.

Sign up for Premium

Premium members get all of the cash deals, including both international and domestic deals (including Alaska and Hawaii), and peak summer and holiday travel. You will receive these deals before the free membership. Premium members get an average of 8-10 deals per month. More deals obviously give you more chances you find one (or more) that works for you. Premium members also get mistake fares, which can be up to 85% off regular prices. Cost is $5 per month.

Sign up for Premium Plus

Premium Plus members get everything Premium members get, but they will also get points and airline miles deals. With both cash flight deals and points and airline miles deals coming your way, this will maximize the deals coming your way. Expect a total of around 15 deals each month with this plan. Cost is $8 per month.

So, what makes a good flight deal

Let's get this out of the way: we don’t earn any commission from the airlines when you book a deal, so our only motivation is to send you great deals. And, we won’t smash your inbox with just any deal. We only send a deal that we think is worth sending your way to tell you about—and that means it needs to truly be a great deal.

Is the fare a great deal? Of course, it all begins with the price. But price isn’t the only consideration. If it’s a dirt-cheap fare with terrible routing on a questionable airline, well, that’s we won't send that your way. If it’s not a flight we’d put our brother or sister on—or take ourselves—we won't send.

How we choose which deals to send

Not every cheap flight is worth your time (or money). Here’s what we look at before sending you an alert:

The airline Matter

We want you to enjoy the journey, not just the price. If an airline is known for endless fees, cramped seats, or constant delays, we’ll probably skip it or give you a fair warning. On the flip side, if it’s a five-star airline with excellent service, we’ll let you know—and sometimes we’ll stretch our price thresholds a little for that extra comfort.

Routing that makes sense

Layovers happen, but no one wants a 6-hour overnight in an airport. We focus on trips with short, reasonable connections. If there’s a longer stop, it should be enough time to explore a city—not just nap in the corner.

Real availability

We only send deals with multiple date options (usually 8+). Whether you’re planning for summer break, Christmas/Thanksgiving, or a local festival, we’ll note when the deal falls during peak travel times so you know what to expect.

Rarity and Value

Some deals pop up all the time—we won’t spam you with those. Others are rare gems, and when we see one, we’ll send it even if the price is slightly higher than usual.

👉 Bottom line: If we send you a deal, it’s because we’d book it ourselves. We do the filtering so you can do the traveling.

How to read our deals

We make it easy to scan our alerts so you only spend time on deals that matter to you.

In every subject line, you’ll see:

  • The destination (city, country, or region for big sales).

  • The lowest round-trip price or price range.

  • A “Mistake Fare” tag if it’s an urgent, book-fast deal.

Inside each alert, we include:

  • Departure cities, destinations, and exact prices.

  • Cheapest route options (including open-jaw trips like “fly into London, home from Berlin”).

  • Available travel dates, normal prices for comparison, and the airlines offering the deal.

  • Step-by-step instructions on where to book, with direct links.

👉 Bottom line: our goal is to give you all the key info, upfront and simple, so you can decide fast whether to book.

How to book the deal

Using the sample search link makes it a lot easier for you to find the deal, as you don’t have to start your search from scratch. Just click the link to the sample search—it’s pre-loaded with any filters you’ll need to use to find the deal—and then modify the search for your specific needs, such as the number of seats and dates.

For example, say you’re interested in a deal we sent for flights to Beijing in the $500s. In the alert, we’ll link to a sample search on Google Flights. When you click on the link, you’re taken to sample search results that already include Spokane to Beijing. Simply select the outbound and return flights with the price we have provided and the number of seats, and Google Flights will then direct you to the airline selling the tickets.

Let's say in this example, the airline that has the deal is Delta Airlines. So when you click the blue “continue” button in Google Flights, you’ll be taken to Delta’s site to complete your purchase. Here you can select seats, if the fare allows, upgrade, purchase luggage if needed, add your personal details, and pay.

For points and airline miles deals, we will provide which points or airline miles will be needed and which airlines will be used. We will also provide which transferable points (American Express Membership Rewards, Chase Ultimate Rewards, Capital One Miles, Citi ThankYou Points, and Bilt Rewards) can be used for the booking. Remember, points and airline deals are for Premium Plus Plan subscribers only.

How to get ready for a deal

There are a few things you can do to be ready, so when the perfect deal appears, you can grab it.

First, make sure you’re getting the emails

After signing up, you’ll receive a welcome email. If it lands in spam, mark it as “not spam.” Gmail users should drag it out of the Promotions tab and mark it as “not promotions” so future alerts land in your main inbox.

Next, know your deal criteria

Many members say these alerts have inspired them to travel to places they never considered. But it helps to think about what works for you. Are you open to anywhere, or do you have a short list of dream spots? Do you need certain dates, or can you be flexible? By knowing your criteria—whether it’s broad like “Europe in fall” or specific like “Tokyo in March”—you can quickly sort through alerts that matter and ignore the rest.

Be flexible with nearby options

Sometimes the cheapest way to your dream spot is by first flying into or out of a nearby hub. Cheap flights often pop up to big cities like London, Paris, or Munich, while smaller destinations like Santorini or Cyprus are pricier and less frequent. Grabbing the big-city fare and then connecting with a short flight, bus, train, or ferry can save you hundreds.

Finally, act quickly, especially on Mistake Fares

These are accidental discounts that can slash prices—think Los Angeles to Singapore in business class for under $600, or Dallas to Rome for under $300 round-trip. But they disappear fast, sometimes in minutes. If you’re not sure you can commit immediately, the 24-hour rule can help. This U.S. Department of Transportation regulation requires airlines flying to or from the U.S. to offer free cancellations within 24 hours of booking (as long as you buy directly from the airline at least a week before departure). This way, you can lock in a Mistake Fare risk-free while you double-check your plans.
